Eva Philippe-Petit is a conservation filmmaker based in South Florida, who previously worked for 6 years as a TV journalist.
Her work has led her to film in many countries around the world, mainly in Africa, South America and Europe.
Eva documented major environmental disasters in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, showing the consequences of hurricanes Irma and Dorian.
Since 2019, Eva has been freelancing and covered stories in Northern Africa, Madagascar, Republic of Benin, Colombia, and Colombia focusing on various conservation projects, involving elephants, humpback whales and indigenous tribes.
In 2022, she was the recipient of the Paradise-ngo grant and directed "Shadow over the fins" a short film documenting the shark fishermen/divers conflict in South Florida. This piece was premiered
